Executive Director, California Troops to Teachers Program
Mike Carlson currently serves as the Executive Director of the California Troops to Teachers Program. Prior to assuming his current position, he was Deputy Superintendent of the Sacramento County Office of Education, a position which included duties as the Chief Administrative Officer of the California Teacher Recruitment Project (CalTrip). Mike’s school personnel experience spans over 30 years with service in local school districts and regional agencies. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration.
