
Ray Haynes

Dr. Ray M. Haynes serves as the Director of Technical Alliances within the office of the Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman Space Technology. During Dr. Haynes' venerable career he has worked in aeronautics for: AiResearch - proposal ops/design engineer ('67-69); RCA Computers - project systems engineer ('70-72); TRW affiliated companies: Docutel, Singer Business Systems, Financial Data Sciences, CS&S, TRW-Fujitsu, and Quadstar in positions of systems engineering, product marketing, business development, international and senior management ('72-85); and TRW S&E – Director/XO for Chief Engineer, university alliances (’99-present-Now: Northrop Grumman Space Technology).
Dr. Haynes has held faculty positions with Arizona State University - Adjunct professor SCM ('85-88) and Cal Poly University San Luis Obispo - Professor and Director of graduate engineering management program ('89-99). Dr. Ray Haynes holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering as well as an MBA from the University of Arizona; MS in Systems Engineering from RCA Computer Institute; and a PhD in Operations Logistics from Arizona State University. Dr. Haynes has been a lecturer at ASU, Cal Poly, Cal Tech, LMU, MIT, Purdue, Stanford, and UCF. He is an advisor for MESA Minority Engineering Programs and Native American student groups, and currently co-chairs the NGC Native American Caucus.
