Professor Twiggs established the Space Systems Development Laboratory in 1994 at Stanford University, which has recently built and launched three student-designed and student-built experimental satellites into space. For 20 years prior to joining Stanford University, Prof. Twiggs worked in the microwave device and software development industry. He was at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah from 1981-1994, serving as professor in Electronic Engineering Technology and Director of the Center for Aerospace Technology.
